The Canadian Christian writing, publishing and retailing community—which has always been fledgling and fragile—is being affected by international economic, business, social and cultural trends. The changes are irrevocable. How can we make plans for the future when the ground is shifting under our feet?
We want to exchange ideas about this new world, take some bearings of the horizon and share some information we’ve discovered. How can we embrace change and thrive in the coming days?
We are a group of people who are passionate about our Christian faith, about writing, about Canada…and about Christian writing and publishing in Canada. We have different ideas and we don’t always agree, but we are linked by the fact that we all are members of The Word Guild, a national organization with the mandate of connecting, developing and promoting Canadian writers and editors who are Christian.
