Wendy Elaine Nelles is an award-winning journalist, writer, editor and speaker with wide-ranging experience in the corporate, not-for-profit and publishing sectors. Her news articles, features and profiles have appeared on the front pages of Canadian Christian publications. She holds an MA in Communications with high honour from Wheaton College, Illinois. Wendy was recognized nationally for distinctive achievement with the Leading Women Award for Excellence in Communications and Media in 2006.
Her work has impacted many of Canada’s writers and editors who are Christian, through co-founding The Word Guild in 2002 and directing many writing awards programs and writers’ conferences. She has served on the leadership team of Canada’s largest Christian writers’ conference, Write! Canada, for 21 consecutive years, and has co-directed eight conferences. She is co-editor of the groundbreaking inspirational anthology, Hot Apple Cider: Words to Stir the Heart and Warm the Soul, which showcases the work of 30 Canadian authors who are Christian.

Denyse O'Leary
Denyse O’Leary is a Toronto-based journalist and blogger who is the author of three books on faith and science issues, including her latest, The Spiritual Brain: A Neuroscientist’s Case for the Existence of the Soul, co-authored with Montreal neuroscientist Mario Beauregard; and another on the intelligent design controversy. She has taught writing, editing and business practice for writers and editors for many years.
